The IPU CET 2014 Medical online application process has begun. The forms are released by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) on the official website and the candidates need to apply for same from there.
The Indraprastha University has invited through applications forms to all eligible candidates for admission to the medical and dental courses offered in the university. The admissions to the university will be done though aCommon Entrance Test (CET) 2014 which will be conducted by the university in the month of April and May of the same year i.e. 2014.
IPU CET MBBS 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India
- For admissions MBBS and BDS courses the candidate must pass in the 12th (HSC) class examination with 50% aggregate marks in PCB and English if the candidate belongs to General Category and 40% if He/She belongs to SC/ST category
- The candidate must be 17 years of age at the time of applying for IPU CET MBBS 2014
IPU CET MBBS 2014 Selection Process:
Once the IPU CET MBBS 2014 Result isannounced a merit list for counseling will be formulated by GGSIPU according to which the candidates will be called for counseling and have to fill college preference
IPU CET MBBS 2014 Exam Pattern:
For candidates seeking admission to MBBS program the IPU CET MBBS 2014 will be conducted in two phases only those candidates who manage to qualify in stage 1 examination will be allowed to sit for stage 2 examination.
For those seeking admissions to BDS courses there will only be 1 Exam.
Both the phases of The IPU CET MBBS 2014 Exam will be a 3 hour single question paper exam which will have 200 multiple choice questions out of which 50 will be from physics, 50 from chemistry and 100 will be from biology
There are 3 marks for each correct response whereas 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong response.
