 Karnataka: Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK UGET 2014 issued online applications for the Entrance Examinations MBBS,BDS,BE,B. Arch. Eligible and interested candidates can on or before last date 12 April 2014.  Candidates must send the copy of the filled COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form along with the DD and specified documents to the COMEDK Office .

Eligibility Criteria -

(A). MBBS / BDS 
  1.  The General Merit candidates must have passed these subjects (PCB) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State); they must also secure not less than 50% marks (40 % in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in aggregate in PCB in the Common Entrance Test of COMEDK UGET-2014. 
  2.  English is one of the subjects to be tested along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology during COMEDK UGET-2014 and the General Merit candidates should secure not less than 50% marks in English, (40 % in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). 
  3. The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (31/12/2014) of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.

 (B). B.E:  
  1. The General Merit Candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually. 
  2.  An attempt in the Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the Rank list. 

 NOTE: Diploma Candidates are not eligible to take COMEDK UGET-2014 
entrance test.

  2. Closing Date of Online Applications: 12 April 2014.
  3. COMEDK Admit cards Download 2014(Admission Tickets): 25 April 2014.
  4. COMEDK UGET 2014 Test date: 11 May 2014
  5. Publishing of Test Scores :30/05/2014  
  6. Publishing of Rank List and uploading of online rank card: 04/06/2014

 No. of Colleges- 
There are in all 14 medical, 25 dental and more than 150 unaided, private engineering colleges which are members of COMEDK, across the State of Karnataka and which offer various courses in Medical, Dental or Engineering studies at Under-Graduate level. The courses offered at the Under-Graduate level include MBBS, BDS or B.E programs.

 COMEDK UGET 2014 Application fees:
  1. For aspirants attempting 3 subjects: Rs 1200 (PCB or PCM)
  2. For aspirants attempting 4 subjects: Rs.1500 (PCMB)
COMEDK UGET-2014 Test Timings:  
  1. B.E -Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (From 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM) 
  2. MBBS / BDS Physics and Chemistry (From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) ,Biology and English (From 2:30 PM to 04:30 PM) 
  3. Both (B.E and MBBS/BDS) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (From 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM) Biology and English (From 2:30 PM to 04:30 PM)

Test Pattern:
  1.  B.E-Physics 60Q, Chemistry 60Q, Mathematics 60Q - Total 180Q.
  2.  MBBS/BDS-Physics 60Q, Chemistry 60Q, Biology 60Q,English 60 Q-Total 240Q.
  3. Both (B.E & MBBS/BDS)- Physics 60Q, Chemistry 60Q, Mathematics 60Q, Biology 60Q,English 60 Q-Total 300Q


COMEDK UGET 2014 Application Fee Payment Mode: by Demand Draft (drawn from the nationalized banks in favor of “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore)
Important:
  • Candidates have to keep the DD ready before applying online.
  • Candidates must mention their Name, Application Number and Address on the reverse.
  • Candidates have to ensure the banker’s signature on the DD

COMEDK UGET 2014 Application Form:
  • Click here to apply online
  • Candidates must keep their Class X details ready along with the DD to fill the particulars as well as category certificate details if applicable.
  • Candidates Name and Date of Birth shouold be he same as the one in the Class X certificate.
  • After submission, candidates must note their COMEDK UGET 2014 application number (6 digits) as displayed in the application form.
  • Candidates must verify all the details before printing.
  • The candidates are required to take a printout of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form along with the online study certificate requiring attestation by the head of the institution last studied (as prescribed by COMEDK).

  • The printout of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Date of Birth Certificate / Identity proof has to be attached to the printout of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form.
  • A recent colour passport photograph has to be affixed to the printout of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form
  • Candidates must place their signature and left forefinger impression in the declaration of theCOMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form
  • The guardian’s signature must also be placed as specified in the Declaration of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application

Dos and Don’ts:
  • Candidates should not staple or use pins to affix certificates
  • Cadidates MUST NOT staple the photograph t the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form Copy or the online study certificate
  • Mutilated COMEDK UGET 2014 Application Forms will not be accepted
  • Candidates need not sign on the photograph as signature on the photograph is not needed
  • Attestations of any kind is not required for the photograph
  • Candidates must note the 6 digits application number as displayed in the COMEDK UGET 2014 Application Form.
  • Candidates must ensure that all the photographs used for COMEDK UGET 2014 Application, Counselling and Admissions are identical.
  • They must verify the details before taking the printout of the COMEDK UGET 2014 Online Application Form and Online Date of Birth Certificate / Identity proof (COMEDK and Candidate Copy).
  • They must avoid multiple application forms as it will result in disqualification.
